1897 Geneva Cycle Company tandem bicycle with rear steering; ladies were meant to take the front seat, not rear one like with most tandem bicycles.
Geneva Cycle Company was opened in 1894 in Geneva On The Lake, Ohio. The president was J.A. Carter, and chief engineer - A. Thompson. The company was a success, by 1899 it produced 15,000 bicycles. Among their models there was a bicycle with a steam engine, one of the first American motorbikes.
