Marka Esperanto została po raz pierwszy opatentowana w 1929 wraz z dwoma innymi: Pofabor oraz Veritas. W 1939 opatentowała ją ponownie fabryka rowerów i maszyn do szycia "Pofabor" należąca do S. Enzlowicza.
