Fiat 500, popularnie zwany Topolino ("myszka") w czasie trwania produkcji był najmniejszym samochodem osobowym świata. Od roku 1937 do 1955 w sprzedaży pojawiły się trzy modele, z niewielkimi zmianami. Chłodzony wodą czterocylindrowy silnik 569 cm3 montowany był przed przednią osią.
