Available as either a sedan or four-door cabriolet, the 1956 Mercedes Benz 300C was the third generation of the Mercedes Type 300. Visually the 1956 300C was nearly identical to the 300B, however, it offered an expanded rear window and the first ever option for an automatic transmission.
