Motobecane - Mobylette AV5

Motobécane was a French manufacturer of bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles (see: Motobécane) and other small vehicles, established in 1923. Motobécane mopeds were introduced in postwar years. AV5 model was produced in 50's and 60's. The famous Mobylette appeared in 1949; over the next 48 years, Motobécane manufactured 14 million Mobylettes (below). In India the same model was manufactured under licence by Mopeds India Ltd under the name Suvega.
