Alfred B. Howell, of 1100 Broadview Avenue, managed a number of family enterprises, including a motorcycle agency and sporting goods store at 148 South High Street. This 1911 photograph is from a Columbus Dispatch article announcing that he and other Howell family members were sales representatives for New Era, Racycle, and Harley Davidson motorcycles, and that they were opening a branch office in Marion, Ohio.
